We are a couple of days away from the royal wedding and the world could not be more excited. Just like everyone else we can not wait to watch. We are waiting to see what designer Meghan wears, will the dress be lace or silk. Will she have a long train and a cathedral veil? What will Prince Harry wear, will he go classic with tails our Modern. We will have to wait and see what they will wear. What will the ceremony look like and will the Spice Girls perform?
Weddings are exciting and the royal wedding is no different. As we are waiting and watching this makes me think about all the drama that is depicted in the news regarding the Markel family. With everything that is going on the part that touches me is that Prince Harry & Meghan are focusing on what’s important, their love story, their life together.
Never Forget What’s Important
When planning a wedding sometimes we lose ourselves in what we should do and not what we want to do. You have to take time with your fiance figure what is important you. This is your marriage and at times you need to remind each other. You will have a lot of influence and opinions from family and friends, and they mean no harm they just want to help. That’s wonderful and they can help once you have your core values of what is important and what can you not do without.
Once you have set down with your fiance and you all have outlined what’s important write it down. Hang it somewhere that you will see it so that you can check in and remind yourself what’s important. I promise you this will be one of the main things that keep you on track during the process. Also, write down you’re why, why are you getting married and what are your goals. Again this is another way for you two to check in with each other when times get tough.
While your planning your wedding it will get stressful but remember you are planning for your marriage. Communicate with each other, check in with each other and check you’re why and remember what’s important. As we all sit and watch this weekend and enjoy as these two beautiful people become one let’s celebrate them and wish them love and happiness.
