Woodsy Jewel-Toned Wedding Inspiration | Ascending Weddings & Events

You’re planning your wedding and you have done all of the preliminary work to get started and now its time to start getting your wedding inspiration together. I know you’re thinking where do I start? Most times brides will go directly to Pinterest to find inspiration but we are going to challenge you to really think out of the box. This is your day we want your wedding to reflect that.

Design your wedding so when people walk in your wedding they know it’s your day!

When designing this inspiration we were dreaming about an enchanted, gorgeously moody romantic al fresco wedding celebration that had an air of mystery. We wanted to mix jewel tones with the dark and moody feel and highlight the gorgeous overgrown wooded space. Our bride loves rich tones with pops of color so as we designed this inspiration we added pops of brighter color in with our florals.

When planning out your wedding inspiration remember pops of color can be added with bright florals.

We mixed vintage with modern and paired a gorgeous farm style table with modern table linens. When thinking about your table and what you want it to display think about your inspiration or theme, and don’t be afraid to mix and match to achieve the aesthetic. We mixed the farm table with a beautiful velvet jeweled toned table linen, playing with the textures of the linen and the flowers we achieved a beautiful sweetheart table and guest table.

We adorned the guest table with circle floral centerpieces to bring in the inspiration we used in the ceremony space with tall candelabras. The darkness of the charger plates and light jeweled tone colors of the plates, glasses and the napkins gave a wonderful contrast.

When thinking about designing your table or working with a planner/ designer think about each layer that will bring your design to life.

When planning for our shoot we focused on each and every detail, we want you to be able to take this inspiration and make it your own. Your wedding day is the day when you and your partner become one it is two people coming together to make a romantic story.
